I twisted my right wrist while holding on to the handle and doing my hamstring leg curl exercise on Friday. I was praying and hoping it would heal itself so I don't have to come see Holmer, a fellow Republican and a friend of mine who is a chiropractor. It didn't get any better but I didn't have too much of a problem getting my tie all fixed up. After the worship service, it got remarkably better.
Came over to Rev. Dinh's house after choir practice and we had a great time eating lunch and watching football, the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles, then the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. I was tired and felt asleep during the Cowboys game. Had a real short nap and then went over to pick up Tuan and headed over to Mountain View Community College Performing Arts Center for the third debate between Pete Sessions and the other gentleman, the liberal 13-term congressman Martin Frost, who thinks that government is the answer to all problem with one formula of taxing more and thowing more money into any problem we are faced with.
The League of Women Voters hosted the dabate or candidate forum as they called it. The familiar Cal Jilson, Southern Methodist University political professor and political commentator for ABC channel 8 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area was the moderator. Saw and spoke to Keven Ann Willey, a transplanted Arizonian who is the editorial page editor of the Dallas Morning News, one of the three people on the panel which presented questions to the candidates, both from their own and the audience's. I commended her regarding her insistence on North Texas air quality. She spoke at our Metrocrest Republican club monthly meeting back in March of 2003 and air quality was one of her rather passionate issues.
