Great sermon last night by the reverend Thomas Stebins. I had a severed headache and went home right after the service to sleep without eating anything last night.
Went to the babyshower and birthday party after church. Then dropped by the Dallas County Republican Party Victory Center to join other Northern Dallas Pachyderm members to make phone calls to identify Republican voters. From there came over to Chris and MyLinh house for the VPS monthly meeting. It was a rather busy Sunday for me.
I really like what I have seen the last two days: Mel Martinez, Dr. Tom Coburn, Richard Burr are consistently ahead of Betty Castor, Brad Carson, Erskine Bowles for the senate seat in Florida, Oklahoma, North Carolina respectively.
However, it doesn't look all that sure for Pete Coors. His number and Ken Salazar's in Colorado has been back and forth so it's a deadheat there. I am hoping Pete Coors would pull ahead in the next 23 days. Alaska, the whole state is Republican but former governor Tony Knowles proves to be a very serious challenger for senator Lisa Murkowski to keep her seat. I hate the fact that we will lose the Republican senate seat in Illinois, barring any miracle there.
I am continually reminded that your character is the sum of your habits. It is so true if you think about it.
