Camp went really well considering the fact that I didn't spend much time preparing as previous years. My brother took most of the responsibility for food preparation. It was pouring rain in wave on the way to Turner Falls but the whole time we were there, it was dry. It was rather windy the night we got there. Both Friday and Saturday nights, it was freezing. I wore a shirt and a sweater the first night and four layers of shirts and sweater the second and still had a hard time sleeping. During the day, it was most wonderful however. We had a great time hiking. There was even lifeguard at the pond this year.

Had opportunity to talk with Rev. Thach for all the two hours driving back from camp. It was very insightful. I admire him for a life well-lived. He's 68 but his physical endurance is much more than most of us in our 20s and 30s.

Got the four books by Dallas Willard I ordered last Thursday: Divine Conspiracy, Renovation of the heart, Hearing God, The spirits of the disciplines.
