The last day to register to vote in the November 7th, 2006 general election in Texas is October 7th. To get a voter registration application, pick one up at your local public library, or request one from the Texas Secretary of State website here.

To look up who are your elected official, and also which county you are a resident of, and thus should be register to vote in that county, go here, punch in your address and find out.

Mail your voter registration application to your county election administrator, look up the mailing address here. Unless you are in a populous county, you won't have a separate address for your county election administrator, just use the address for your county tax accessor-collector.
