Reading Best Life Magazine about Helio Gracie this morning. He founded Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Not only that, he trained all his sons, and grandsons to follow the discipline. Two things that stood out are:

1. You do what is right, not what feels good. You eat what is right for your body, not what tastes good.
2. It's a way of life, to stay fit and train to be ready to fight at any moment.

They are the same two points of a consistent message when you look at all the people who define true success. Check my May 14th entry on Julio Franco, same message.

I see and hear the same message with Evangelism Explosion, and with the Institute in Basic Life Principles, which is the same as what Christ commanded: you are saved by grace, but not taking that as a license to go on sinning, ie. doing whatever you want, but live a life of obedient and be ready any moment for Christ's second coming. Same with your phsical body, it's your body but don't do as you like and destroy it. Rather, stay fit and train to be ready to fight at any moment.
