I spent about an hour collecting all the necessary paperworks, electronic or otherwise, and then another half hour with my accountant, before I was done with filing for my 2005 tax return. I can't wait for the day when the federal income tax is replaced with a national sales tax, which taxes spending and consumption while encourages savings and investments.
