Democrat Mark Dayton has decided not to run for re-election so Minnesota is now an open seat. I forgot, we should also be able to reclaim Vermont from independent senator Jim Jeffords. Senator Robert Byrd is 89 years young, maybe the people of West Virginia could send a Republican just a bit younger to represent them in the US Senate. That's the 60 filibuster proof majority I have been looking for, hooray.

This WorldQuest challenge would certainly encourage people to have broader knowledge. Too bad I have to be at the Lunar New Year celebration in Arlington.

Ms. Lucie Bellow, president of NDNA was one of the speakers at our Metrocrest monthly meeting today. She is also serving on the Texas Neighborshoods Together board of directors. They will be lobbying in Austin Feb. 28th. No more vacation for me, so sad.
