Check out this op-ed piece by Michael Tanner. Very encouraging numbers: "Exit polls this November showed that 56 percent of voters supported individual account proposals, with only 32 percent opposed. Substantial majorities of men (56 percent), women (57 percent), young people (66 percent), African-Americans (62 percent), Hispanics (65 percent), Catholics (63 percent) and Evangelicals (62 percent) all backed individual accounts. As expected majorities of conservatives (71 percent) and Bush voters (69 percent) supported individual accounts, but so did 41 percent of self-described liberals. Indeed, 44 percent of Kerry voters favored the proposal."

Election challenge has come to an end for the District 149 State Representative seat. Democrat Hubert Vo will now join Republican Martha Wong, both of Houston, in the 150 members Texas House.
