Kathy, the permanent caucus chair of Senate District 8, finally returned my call this morning. Her son has been sick though.
It is a rather funny show on Fox with Paris Hilton, the spoiled heiress to the Hilton fortune. Caught a glimpse of it while having dinner tonight.
Michael Moore is presenting a screening of his Fahrenheit 9/11 tonight in Crawford, Texas, where president Bush's ranch is. Even when the president is trying to stay out of the limelight, these Democrats just won't leave him alone to a little peace and quiet of his own. Mr. Moore is going to get his Texas welcome from Republicans from all over the state. I was going to go but finally decided I am too tired to drive down there and back, a little over an hour each way, after an hour meeting at work in which I could barely keep my eyes open. I don't want to fall asleep on the highway and hit others.
I was going to walk the precinct 1717 of Dallas county for Pete Sessions after the workout today but it's been raining and raining so I went home. Yesterday, I stopped by the campaign headquarter before going to the gun range and I was joking with Anne that it would be covered whenever she wants.
Got a letter from Susan Fischer regarding the Compassion across America project today. Ed and Mickey are going to help her taking care of North Texas, coordinating with the whole Texas delegation leader Toni Anne Dashiell.
I am proud of myself for having been able to catch up on a lot of the financial bookkeeping for the church. Everything balances without much trouble, thank God!
