I and Larry showed up at DFW airport half an hour before flight time and the automatic machine wouldn't let me check in. The lady at the counter issued me a standby boarding pass, but both I and Larry was able to get on the plane, praise God.

Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, the host of the Evangelism Explosion clinic is really big, has their own K-12 school as well as their very own Knox Theological Seminary. Dr. D. James Kennedy, the church senior pastor is a great guy, who just celebrated his 75th birthday. In one of the clinic sessions, he shared with us about a conversations he had with governor Ronald Reagan of California when he ran for the presidency. Before president Reagan was to address a crowd at the Reunion Arena in Dallas, he met privately with about 20 ministers. The other ministers were asking him about every policy question conceivable, Dr. Kennedy asked for permission and went straight to the most important question of all: "Mr. Governor, if you were to stand before God today, and He asked why should he let you into heaven, what would you say?" President Reagan dropped his head between his knees momentarily and then came up with the following answer: "I don't deserve to go to heaven but for God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish but have eteral life."
