Attended governor Rick Perry campaign kick off today at the brand new TI facility on Renner just west of Alma. The governor was introduced by Phil Ritter, TI's Global Public Affairs head. Then a group of us, Tibor, Pamela, Elaine, Lucie, and I went to lunch at nearby Abuelo's.
Another group of us also went for a late dinner at the Desperados on Greenville after the Dallas GOP executive meeting tonight at the Radisson. I was reminded of a couple of the old sayings:
1. I'd rather be judged by 12 (grand jury) than to be carried by 6 (pallbearers).
2. A pistol in hand is better than 6 police on the phone.
I started leaning toward a certain candidate but still undecided on the district attorney race between Vic Cunningham, Dan Wyde, and Toby Shook as well as the congressional district 30 race between Amir Omar and Wilson Aurbach to unseat Democratic incumbent Eddie Bernice Johnson.
