An interesting article about credit card balance carried by members of congress.

County judge Margaret Keliher was our speaker tonight at Northern Dallas Pachyderm Club monthly meeting. Dallas has one of the lowest county tax rate compare to the surrounding counties but because of Parkland and consequently the hospital district tax rate, the combined tax rate is highest among all the north Texas counties. State law only allows Dallas county to request re-imbursement from other counties when the person from the other counties being treated at Parkland has an income below 21% of the federal poverty level, which amount to about $4,800 per year. It's obvious that is of no help at all.
