Exactly sixteen years ago this day, at 8:07 in the morning, an airplane took off from Tan Son Nhat airport in Saigon and that's how my journey to the United States of America began. I landed at DFW International airport at 20:30 on the same day, after a long stop in Taipei, Taiwan.
