I do speak out when the Republican elected officials are wrong. The city of Carrollton, with a Republican mayor and all 7 Republican councilmembers, is going to raise property tax on the residents. Now, I don't have a problem of giving pay raises to our police and firefighters, but I have problem with other spendings. These are hard times and I don't believe the government should take away anymore of working moms' and dads' disposable income.
