Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. --- Theodore Roosevelt

The president's State of the Union address has something for everyone. Security is an issue everyone, Democrat or Republican, cares about. Then the economy, healthcare, education: traditionally the Democrat's issues. Then there is the Constitutional process for to protect the sanctity of marriage, the activist judges. What is so encouraging is that the president brought up the issue of STDs (sexually transmitted diseases): the only sure way to avoid it is abstinence. Condom cannot prevent some of the viruses' transmission, an issue that Dr. Dobson of Focus on the Family has talked about so many times.
